How Tessera Park works

1. Students report, the map updates

   Someone at a lot taps Has space or It's full. The lot changes color for everyone, right away.

2. Only from the lot

   A report counts on the live map only when the phone is at the lot.

3. Old news fades

   A report fades within the hour, so the map shows now, not this morning. With nothing fresh, it shows what is usual for that hour, drawn lighter.

4. Real people only

   Automated reports never count.

5. No guesses

   Never a percent full. Open, Filling or Full, from someone who is there.

6. Independent

   Tessera Park is independent. No university runs it.

Reports come from students and staff on campus.
